I bought LG KP 500 cookie in Dec 2009. At that time, it was the best touchscreen phone with a minimum price. The functionality of the phone is also good and simple to handle. The sound quality is just amazing both on speaker and in headphones. Almost as good as NOKIA xpress music series.
After one year of purchase, however, the phone has started giving problems. The touchscreen gives a very slow response and menu and images take a hell longer to open. I thought the problem might be due to the memory card being full. But even after formatting the memory card, the phone continued to be very slow. When I took the phone for some minor servicing at the service center, the representatives said they don’t have the necessary spare parts and cannot repair the phone. now from last 2 months, it has started to hang and wont start even after trying for 2 hours.
All I have to say that it is a good phone but not durable as NOKIA phones. The support system of LG is also not good enough. There are not many free applications available and even the existing applications have some compatibility issues.
