I have been using a Cookie since July 2009. A very good phone, from a features and usability perspective. The battery back up is most impressive. For a phone which has as big a screen as it has, it does not need a recharge until the third day of charging it fully (My usage is typically for about 2-3 hrs a day of talk time plus some 10 SMSes. I don’t play games over the phone or play music etc... But I do use a bluetooth for about 3 hrs a day, while I am driving).
The only issue is with the longevity of the phone. I have faced multiple problems within the last month or so. Thankfully, the phone is still in warranty. The first issue was with the speaker, which needed to be replaced. Then now, it is with the touch screen. The screen goes off calibration to the extent that one can’t even choose the menu options to set it correct. Switching it off and back on after about an hour sets it straight for a few hours. I have left it with the service center as of now.
The after sales service is decent. The service centre in Adyar, Chennai is where I have taken it to on both these occasions and people there value customer’s time and are quick to attend.
