Bought 1.5 ton LG Split AC since most of window ACs used by us are of LG Brand. Post installation, I realized the following:
a. the outdoor unit is too big and bulky. Samsung makes smaller units. You should check the available space for outdoor unit and ensure that you keep a margin of 8 inches since the connecting copper tubes also require some space.
b. the split ac makes too much noise. Recently, we used carrier ac 1.5 ton split for a year, it had ZERO noise.
c. the copper tubing for 4 mtr is included in the ac. Make sure you don’t need more than 4 mtrs since extra tubing is Rs 500/ mtr.
d. The intelloair series is much better (oval/ round design and edges). This one has rectangular finish/ sharp edges and is noisy. Everywhere I saw interstellar series, I noticed it makes no noise.
e. Recently, the AC started dripping water from point (now stopped automatically on its own).
For a good quality ac, I would not recommend this model.
