LG 767W, 25lit conv oven

Bought this oven a few weeks back and its been performing great. Made pizza’s, indian sabzi’s, bread rolls, idlis, dhoklas, grilled chicken and a lot of other stuff. Use it everyday (numerous times) for heating. It was a great help to have warm water when I had a bad throat ;)

Its basically a 26lit microwave oven with grill and convection. The control panel is very easy to use. It has presets for 8 types of auto indian cooking and defrosting. Even my mom has started using it regularly without any hassels.

The inside is metal so no chance of chipping the coating (the equivalent Samsung model comes with an enamel coating which could chip off with use). The door is a ’’pull type’’ and does not take up any additional space (unlike some ovens which have big handles on the doors). The size is approx 21 inches(w)x 21(d)x 12(h). It fits well on my kitchen counter. The microwave can be set to use 5 level starting from 900watts (100%), 720W(80%), 540W(60%), 360W(40%) and 180W(20%). The grill can take the temp from 180C to 250C. The accessories that came with the oven include a glass turntable, 2 racks for variable height cooking (with the grill), a microwave safe nonstick metal pan and a range of microwave safe containers (made by Milton).

LG arranged for a free cooking class/demo and we found it very useful. Routine things like sabudana khichadi, upma can be made in a jiffy. All in all, its made life easy at home.

To make this deal sweeter, I got an LG vacuum cleaner for only Rs. 2000 more.
