LG MICROWAVE OVENS

I had also purchased a Microwave Oven of LG Brand from a Dealer situate in Borivali West Mumbai. My problems started from that very moment. The dealer was not fair in his dealings. He originally refused to give the free oven proof plastic vessels.   I report this matter to LG Higherups. I keep reminind them by fax. But no response. The Company is only interested in Dealers who give them more sales. They are not bothered about consumers like us.


After having used the Microwave for about a year or so, the problem with LG once again surfaced. They charge exhorbitant fees for every visit of their representatives. Their charges for the parts is just unbelievable. Their service is very very lethargic.


About a few weeks back, our Microwave went into repair mode. The representative from an Authorised LG Store comes to my house; in my wife’s absence removes a part and goes away making my partially working Microwave totally dead. We try calling up the Authorised Service Station, who for 2 weeks (yes for a full 14 days) keep on promising that the part will be replaced. Then we call up the LG Office. Then too there is no immediate action. Then we threaten that we will dump the Microwave in front of the LG Authorised Showroom and alternatively also lodge a FIR that a person from their Office has unauthorisedly taken away a part from the Microwave. We also threaten to expose this deed in the press and then the wheels start moving. The part is replaced within 24 hours (obviously at a cost).
