I recently bought a google nexus 5 from google play store. The delivery was earlier than expected which was very impressive. As I unpacked the product and started to use, mind you, am not a software geek but I can find my way around.
I was very impressed with the hardware which processed my multiple apps with much ease. The camera with its optical stabilization feature works like a chum, though I felt it took a tad little more time than what a Samsung S4 did and not to forget the styling and the looks of the phone which are very good.
Within a week of buying, one evening I was sitting on the couch at home I inadvertently dropped the phone on to a tiled floor from a height of mere 1 feet. As I picked up the phone, unsuspectingly to my horror the glass over the LCD display of the phone developed a crack but the LCD display itself was undamaged. As I got thinking if a drop from 1 feet can do this to the phone, I am of a personal opinion that the Achilles heel of this phone is its glass display.
I hope the guys at Google are hearing me. For all those fellas who intend to buy this phone, Id rather say be prepared to maintain this phone within a well padded cushioned velvet casing and forget about your ideas about flaunting this piece around.
