I have been using this phone for more than a year. I have never feel any type of lag while using this phone.
The 1080p full HD display is great and easily visible in direct sunlight by increasing the brightness to approx 50 percent. This phone has IPS display means good viewing angles and colour saturation is also great.
While taking about the camera, it has a 12.3mp rear and 5mp front facing camera with 1.5 microns means great photos in low lighting conditions. Rear camera is capable of recording videos in 4K, while front facing limited to full hd.
Currently 5X is running on Android Nougat 7.1.1. The latest Android OS available in the market. It has 2gb of ram, 32 gb of rom and snapdragon 808 processor. This phone is capable of running most high graphic games smoothly without any lag.
Overall Lg Nexus 5X is a good deal at price level of 20k.
