The Real Smartphone with luxury enhancements!

Optimus G was one of the prestigious flagships by LG which was released in October 2012. Since its release it has changed the lame history of LG. You may be a Samsung, Apple or Nokia fan, but now spare some time to join LG to your fan list. After a long research I have bought this mobile two weeks back. After two weeks of usage, my decision was 100% perfect to choose this Beast.

Main Features:

•   QUALCOMM’S SNAPDRAGON S4 PRO 1.5 GHZ QUAD-CORE PROCESSOR

•   32 GB INTERNAL MEMORY – 2 GB RAM

•   TRUE HD IPS PLUS 4.7" DISPLAY

•   2100 MAH BATTERY

•   13 MP CAMERA

Performance:

Optimus G is beautifully responsive, I never expected that this device can outperform my expectations. It has 1.5 Ghz quad core processor and Adreno 320 graphics with 2 GB Ram which handles all apps and games very smoothly. Its Design has been awarded as the best design of 2012. This is one of the Best Display Device in the current market with True HD IPS+. There is no question of hanging in Optimus G even with heavy load of apps. Just loving its Great Performance.

User Interface:

Optimus G comes with LG UI 3.0 which gives you a rich feel when you touch the screen. Compared to LG UI 2.0 there are lot of changes and enhancements. I have compared Samsung touchwiz and Htc sense, none of them have impressed me as LG. Everyone will fall in love with the premium feel of the lock screen. Wallpaper lovers have 3 different options to change their backgrounds simultaneously. Home Screen has 6 different unique scrolling styles. Optimus G is the 1st mobile to provide Zero Gap technology, which reduces the lcd panel and brings you the feel that you are touching the icons directly. Q-Slide is a great technology introduced by LG(you can text & watch video simultaneously).

Music – Camera – Video:

As a music lover I heart fully thank LG for providing me such a great inbuilt music player with Dolby option mode. LG have specially designed Quad Beat headphones for Optimus G, these two combination just produce ultimate music for any kind of music listener.

13 Mega Pixel Camera does a great job for me. Pictures have great clarity in sunlight conditions and does a better job in low light conditions. Tweaks provided in camera are very easy to use. It also has a 1.3 Mega Pixel front facing camera. You can adjust iso, focus, white balance and plenty more. Panaroma mode is also included with its stock camera.

One of the best feature I loved is Video Recording, it produces amazing clarity when you record at Full HD 1920X1080. While recording or watching video you have the feature of live zooming.

Battery:

A great asset to this smartphone. This beast is built with 2100 mah Lithium-ion battery, it gives me perfect battery backup even with heavy usage. It lasts for 1 whole day with heavy usage and 1.5 day with normal usage. I use only 2g networks. Eco Mode & Power Saving options gives a big boost to battery life.

My Conclusion:

I know that currently LG is not that great at smartphone market, until unless they do aggressive marketing their amazing products will know only to some people like me. One thing is sure that LG are making their way back. If you don’t believe this review I suggest to have a look the following in YouTube(Q-Slide, Quick Memo, Quad Core Control, Zero Gap Technology, Optimus G User interface). Which Brand does provide you such a Beast at 30, 500?
