A value for money android smartphone

After 2 days of intensive surveying online and offline finally nailed it down to lg optimus one p-500 .the other phones in my list was the  samsung galaxy 5503, galaxy 551, sony ericsson xperia x10 mini, samsung galaxy fit etc.

The first thing which came into my mind when I saw the phone was " its LG" and I think same is the case with most of the people, but let me tell u this phone definitely unjustified the lg brand because it is simply awesome.

Now coming to the phone, the best part of the phone is that it  not only has android os v2.2 but has a ram of 512 with a descent processor(600MHz), so which means we  have a smooth and fast execution inside which sadly most of the android phones have been lacking.

Let me now put down the features by category:

OS:android v2.2 upgradable to v 2.3 so cant ask for more

Memory:internal 170 mb which is ok not grt, 512 ram which is awesome

processor:600 MHz which again is pretty gud and the additional graphics card adds substantially to                     the bundle especially for games and stuff

Camera: 3.15 MP which has a descent quality but cant be matched with phones having 5MP and above

the video recording is vga at 17 fps which is ordinary but the only thing missing is front side

or  secondary camera that implies video calling will not be possible in this phone

Sound: the loudspeaker loudness andquality is gud but can’t be matched with that of sony ericsson etc.

the earhphone sound quality is grt and can definitely  match up with SE, nokia etc and  the                 phone supports 3.5 mm jack which is not a surprise.

Touchscreen and UI:The touch screen is pretty responsive and would rate it above that of samsung’s                                             the basic UI is also gud the only disadvantage being there are 4 physical buttons                                         instead of capacitive(present in higher cost phones) but again considering

thee cost of the phone, it is acceptable

Screen Size:The screen size is pretty gud and the resolution and clarity  is awesome.

Battery :though the phone comes with a big battery(1500mAh) the  backup is just satisfactory(1-2  days)

considering other mobiles with same battery have been known to give a much better

performance(upto 3 1/2 days) but again some phone optimizations could increase the backup.

WiFi and internet browsing:the phone provides a gud browsing speed, online documents and video

clarity is gud.one disadvantage though the phone has is that it doesn’t

support adobe flash player.

I would like to wrap it up by saying that if you are looking for a an android phone in the range of 10k, lg optimus one p-500 is the best, and if money is not an issue then definitely there are better android phones
