Not Good

Only Good Feature about this phone: Polyphonic Ring Tones & Storage Capacity. Rest is worst

I am using this set since last 6 Months prior to this I used Ericsson & Nokia on GSM networks. Compared to them LG R2030 is the worst set. I analyse any cell phone base on three basic needs.

1) Battery Back up: You can never be confident about the backup for at least till you come back home in the evening, I have compared with the other LG’s used by friends. It is the same case with them too..

2) Features: There is one wonderful feature called call timer, this timer starts counting even before someone attends the call on other side. It starts couting from the time when it is connected not when the caller attends the call. So it always miss leads you on call duration. I called up Reliance Customer service, the represent started argueing with me that the call are billed at actual call duration not as per the handset display. But why should LG give this kind of use less feature? They have R-world shortcut key, if the keyguard is not locked there are 95% chances your R-world key will be pressed by mistake. Be carefull from 1-04-2004 Reliance will be going to charge for this facility.

Difficulty in using other features like SMS and CLIP is well explained by by .......sirajbose in his review.

3) Looks/Style/Aesthetics: Phone really looks good but its too common since the same kind of sets are give to everyone.

Charger is another headache, you have to try very hard to mount your phone on to the charging dock. Overall I say this is not a good set... try with Nokia CDMA
