I would like to get into the technical details of this mobile phone offered by Reliance. I am also a customer of this phone. Till this time with all the free services I am xtremely happy about my purchase of the phone.
Anybody here a software geek?? Does anybody have the idea as to what OS is it running? is it Symbian? or Linux?
If you turn the mobile phone, at the back you would see a registered trademark of a company called QaulComm. This is a leader in mobile and wireless and also carries the crown of inventing and implementing the CDMA technology.
I read on some news site that LG has licensed a product from QualComm called BREW. I wonder whether this model also uses that platform. I am also getting in touch with the Reliance people to find out more about this.
I would like to get in touch with some enthusiasts which would like to review the phone technically, I mean inside out, rather than just looks and facilities which the mere mortals look at ;) My research on this has already begun. Once I get some concrete information I would surely put it up on this board.
By the way, just for those ignorant, your LG RD2030 uses the CDMA technology which is more than 100 times technically stronger and reliable than the GSM technology which your normal Nokia and Motorola mobile phones use.
