This is my second review on LG RD 6230 phone. The basic reason for me to purchase the phone was because of its MP3 feature. which (as I have already mentioned in my first review) is useless unless & until u get a mini SD card installed
in your phone.
So, anxious to use my phone as mp3 player, i did some research about the availability and price of mini SD card from nehru place and gaffar market (karol bagh)
and finally purchased TOSHIBA 256 mb mini SD for 850/- bucks (grey market ofcourse !!) from gaffar market and another 300/- rs for a memory card reader.
The shopkeeper at gaffar was kind enough to load some mp3 songs on the mini SD
the time I purchased it and YO !! ........my phone became an MP3 player !!!!
You can either use the inbuilt speaker or the company provided earphone to listen to music. and believe me..LG is not paying me anything to praise the phone...but the MP3 music quality is simply SUPERB.....doesn’t matter even if you use the inbuilt speaker but the quality is simply great, just put the music on and enjoy the sound clarity.
And the memory card reader is so easy to use !!!! load the mini SD card in the slot the card reader ( u have to use a card adopter for this, it comes as a part of the mini SD card itself)just hook it to the USB port of your PC or laptop and simply copy and paste the songs from your hard drive to the mini SD card.
so go ahead....listen to that music and enjoy................
