U cannot put songs in the phone with USB data cable, u can though put it with a serial cable, but still reccomended is a mini sd card,
Just format the sd card in your mobile it will create 3 folders, then you can add the respective things like MP3 in Sound folder , photographs in Images & Movies , u can attach the SD card with your pc with a card reader, & upload songs into our card but be careful do not try to copy those in your internal meemory as the preallocated space for MP3 songs in your handset is just 5 MB, I havent been able to find a solution for that , if anybody gets it please revert back .the Mp3 player is amazing but it should have been something like NOKIA’s which works in the background & you can do other things whereas in LG 6230, you cannot do anything else no messages no games.
