Bought a LG 42 inch television in 2015 for INR30995. After 5 years TV developed snag and customer service engineer informed that the defective PCB board no longer available as TV model is discontinued. Now LG personal inform that another part is available but that will cost INR 30750. The repair cost is similar to buying cost. This is monopoly as no other company makes this part so I have now no option except to either buy new TV or pay INR30750 for repair without any reliability guarantee. Similar incident happened in 2013 when my LG refrigerator developed issues that time also the LG personal discouraged me for repair and asked me to buy new one. This is a behavioral issue with LG company culture.
