I have purchased LG Scarlet 42’ during Diwali 2008 at Rs.83000/- and surprised to note that it stopped working while we are watching the program after around 18 months. While watching the program, the video ( picture) disappeared and after 2-3 minutes even the voice.
LG service is quite bad and I am running from pillar to post to get the same rectified. The question "IS 83k TV’s Scarlet model’s life is only 18 months? Moreover LG advertises that LCD models’ life is around 90000 hours or even more. Surprising that no one from LG is ready to talk about this.
Be careful, if you are looking for LG LCD TV’s.
