A month or two ago I bought a fully automatic front load LG washing machine model number F1280CDP2 from Pravin Furniture’s & Electronics located at Hadapsar Pune. Since day one we observed some issues but LG’s customer care representative convinced us that with time these issues will get resolved. However recently we observed that this machine does not clean clothes at all, is noisy and consumes a lot of electricity.
To this regards lodged a complaint with LG(Complaint number RNA121205024801) and received a call from a technician at the call centre that this machine will have to be replaced with a new one. A customer care representative name Nagesh visited my home but was clueless on how to resolve this problem and did not respond to my request to replace it. I also realized that LG provides a fake guarantee of it’s products. It has been now more than 2 weeks since I lodged a complaint but there is no revert from the vendor nor from LG.
My recommendation is not to buy LG machine as it is too costly, it does wash cloths at all and provides a fake guarantee.
