I have been using LG washing machine since many years. Earlier, I had a topload LG washing machine. Whenever there was a service or repair required, I used to call service people from LG. One person comes and most of the time he says some part to be replaced. So, we have to pay 900 rs visiting charge plus for the part to be replaced.
2 years back I bought a LG front load washing machine. Whenever there is a repair issue the same person comes. This time, I see that the touch screen start button is not working. He says the entire board needs to be replaced and he is quoting Rs 7000 for the board. These LG customer service people say that they dont repair any part. Theey always replace the faulty part even if the issue is minor and it is repairable. This is not the true customer service. They are just making business by indirectly selling washing machine parts and making more money.
