My first washing machine was a semi automatic one. Being a working woman, I had reserved the washings for weekends and it was a task I didnt like much. I had to be near the machine after every wash cycle, filling the tub, draining. and detangling the clothes after the spin cycle was a pain. So, when this machine developed some leak, we decided to get a new one and this time, invest a little more, ie to buy a fully automatic washing machine. After doing a research on the internet and asking some friends, we zeroed in on LG and chose the WD10485 TP model(Grey colour, 7 kg, upto 1000 rpm). I would say, it was one of best decisions I made in my life. Its been nearly 3 years and my machine hasnt given me any trouble so far.
I always choose the Quick30 option and the clothes come out very clean after every wash. In my semi automatic washing machine, I had to rinse the clothes before putting them in the washing machine(esp Jeans, and areas where there are tough stains-collars), but in the LG washing machine, I neednt bother about this, at all. Just dump all the clothes to be washed, choose the wash options(Quick30 for me), press the start button and forget about it. When the wash is complete, the machine will let you know with a beep, you just need take the clothes out and put them to dry. I always add some fabric softener in the wash tray and the end result is clean, good smelling clothes, that too in just 30 minutes. A task that used to take at least 2 hrs(provided you do not forget to drain, fill after every wash cycle), moreover I do not need to wait for weekends to wash my clothes. This machine washes a fairly big load.around 15-20 pieces at a time.
My LG washing machine made my life easier and washing is a task I enjoy now.Based on my recommendation, my sister also bought an LG washing machine and shes a happy customer too.
Price I paid: AED1400(INR 17200 approx). This was bought in Dubai. In India, the price may be higher. Some websites show the price range as Rs. 25, 000 to 30, 000
