I have the home loan with LIC. Very bad experience.
Initially I applied for 3 years fixed interest @12.75%. But they gave approved letter 5 years fixed interest 13.15%. Then I asked them to change it. They said they can’t change now.
They won’t inform about any new credits well in advance like new registration fee and all. On that day they will send SMS and they will take amount.
I applied for address change one year back. Still it’s not changed. Very poor response. Like getting tax certificates, and all we need to go minimum 2 times. I requested for the online password change. No response.
If you don’t have any other option, you can consider the LIC loan. Otherwise please go to some other banks.
Agents will be more. They will give torture like anything sometimes charge fees too. But all the agents are not like that. Few are good.
