Go to any LIC office, and you will find their staff exceedingly friendly. My personal experience was in LIC Hyderabad regional office near indira park. Each time I go, its the same smiling service, ready to help officers, and very prompt and very efficient. It took less than 15 minutes to take a loan of 10 lakhs against my policy. And the forms to fill are very simple which can be done in one minute or so. The front line officers are always busy with many clients, but you can never see them getting tired or irritated with the continuous inflow of clients.
Even premium payments nowadays are so easy, you can pay over any branch in india, internet etc etc. Settlements are also very quick and done at super speed. No wonder the majority of the indian clients including nris like me prefer to deal with LIC. It has a policy to suit each need of you. Secondly they have trained all their LIC agents with excellent knowledge and contact any of the thousands of agents they have, they know their job very well and they know the policy details so perfectly. All of them are patient and friendly. Congrats to all the team of LIC from top level to the bottom most level for giving such excellent services to all their policy holders which run into millions.
Hope the private sector also learns how to deal with customers though being Number one for several decades LIC has shown that customer is the King and he deserves the best.
