(It is usual practice at LICI, putting retroactive date in a legal document- backdating of the policy is their bad habit)
[I’ve highlighted all these as the bond(cf. attached photo of the bond) is wrongly aligned! Exce e eeellent technical skill!]
Proposer/customer/consumer should be blamed—
S/he should be harassed & punished—
not the LIC authority, who accepted such "wrong" information given by the proposer;
Nor the agent….
Moreover, the newborn’s name is prefixed by a male attribute: "Master"!
How did LICI know the gender of the child before s/he was born?
I am certain that LICI had deployed prenatal sex discernment, which was banned in India since 1994, under the Pre-conception and Prenatal Diagnostic Techniques(Prohibition of Sex Selection) Act.]
I have purchased the policy(No. 414980575) after the birth of my son Mt. Akhar Bandyopadhyay on 29/03/2001(same as DOB);
Surprisingly, what I have noticed is that the commencement date of the policy is 12/03/2001, almost 17 days before the birth of my ward, Akhar Bandyopadhyay(commencement date is highlighted in the attached file).
The crucial point is that, we have not received any payments as promised in the point no. 2 of the first page of the policy bond till date(highlighted in the attached file).
