I have shopped online from the days when online shopping became available in India. All the online merchants more or less kept their promises about time and quality most of the times.
I am very disappointed to state that an online meat vendor called licious is lying through their teeth about delivery times and fleeced me not once but twice continuously.
I used to order meat from them occasionally, and their promise was that they will deliver before 90 minutes. Always they will take more than 90 minutes, mostly 120 minutes or more to deliver.
I used to take it in my stride, the reason being in India it is difficult to keep up the time, since we do not have that tradition.
Last, but one time back, it took a massive four hours for them to deliver and I was incensed and complained. They sent an apology mail and requested me to take some free stuff which I did not take.
Then sometime back, I again ordered (Order no: 57663dd9f230d) thinking that last time goof-up was some thing of a genuine mistake.
I waited and waited for two hours (120 minutes).
Then I called them after 2 hours of waiting and nobody picked up the call.
Again and again I called. Nothing happened.
I raised an online complaint on their site and again nothing happened.
I concluded that I am not going to get what I ordered, and we were forced to have curd rice instead of chicken and mutton.
After more than 3 hours (180 minutes) the delivery person called me to ask for direction to my home. I rejected the order then and there since we already had curd rice. Yes, we were forced to have curd rice due to these idiots not honoring their commitments.
So, do not order anything from them since their only promise of being able to deliver within 90 minutes is a myth. But, they continuously lie telling us they are delivering within 90 minutes of the time.
Their promise on quality also might be a myth, since their only promise is not kept time and time again.
And I am still waiting for my ticket to be resolved :(
Hilariously, if I go to their site to search for my orders, the order id: 57663dd9f230d is listed as delivered!!!
They delivered only delays, and not meat....
