Before the release a huge buzz created around this movie with its trailer. The caption for LIE(Love Intelligence Enmity) also took some attention towards the movie. So here is my review after watching the film.
Plot:
A .Sathyam(Nithin) who doesnt tell truth in his life whatever the situation is. He met a selfish girl Chaitra(Megha Akash) in an airport and they both travelled to US and eventually the fell in love with each other. But Sathyam had a strong reason to go to US and that reason is to catch a criminal Padmanabham(Arjun). The reason why Sathyam want to catch him and how he finally succeeded in catching him is the rest of the story.
Performance:
Nithin came up with a fresh look in this film and he looked damn awesome. He took special care in terms of his costumes and also he did a fantastic job. He showed complete ease in acting and fights. A fight sequence which was shot in Trump towers takes special attention.
The debute heroine Megha Akash did a decent job. She looks very cute and attracts everyone with her expressions. But she didnt get much scope as her role is very limited. But we can hope that in coming days she will have a bright future.
Next comes the villian of the film Arjun who totally disappoints us in the film. Though he did a fantastic job he was totally disguised in other characters of the film so that his appearance was totally gone in vain. Audience kept much expectations on his role as he is coming into telugu cinema after long time but director limited his character. That will become a huge drawback in the film.
Music:
As we all know the greatness of Manisharma and he once again proved it with his music. Though the songs were pretty average the backgroung music took the movie to next level. Some scenes in the movie were highlighted only because of his re-recording.
Cinematography:
Yuvraj is the cinematographer for this film who has only one movie experience but he did a fantastic work. He showed American locations beautifully.
Coming to the direction of the film it will become a huge minus. The director totally confused in executing the script. The mind game between the villian and hero was not showcased efficiently. He left many logics unexplained. Due to direction failure the film gone down.
Final Verdict:
If you ignore logics and wanted to see some nice fight sequences LIE will be a one time watchable flick.
