My father had taken a policy in 1987 for 20 yrs tenure.
Our agent gave us personalised services, he came to our house to collect the premium chq and also came to gave us the receipt for the same.
My father blindly faith on that person, he got many policies from our house.
After 20 yrs. tenure when we go to our agent for our maturity of policy, then we came to know that, that person is untraceble and then we go to LIC office.
Most shoking moment for our family, when we came to know that our policy was lapsed in 1989 due to non payment of premiums.
We shows the receipts for our payments, but all receipts were fake.
*We done complain to LIC for that person, but no use.
*He done same fraud with our other policies also.
Our all hard-earned money got lost.
My suggestion to all peoples, please don’t believe on ur agent blindly, and also check with the company after paying the premium, whether ur premium is updated or not.?
