’’Life is Beautiful’’ has dealt the issue of holocaust in a very sensitive manner. There are lot many things which are unique about his movie. Firstly the issue of Holocuast during the Nazi regime in the WWII has been dealt with in a unique fashion. Despite showing the gross brutalities and the atrocities carried out during that time the Director has brought forth the relationship between the son and the father in one of the many concentration camps.
Secondly, the sacrifice made by the wife for her husband and child.The wife volunteers to be sent to the concentration camp alongwith her husband and child. Furthermore, the strong bonding between mother and the child has been often potrayed on the silver screen but the potrayal of the relationship shared by the son and the father is unforeseen.
The sacrifices that a father has to make to ensure the safety of his child. The father ultimately lays down his life for the sake of his child. Hats of to Roberto Benigni. Furthermore the child who has enacted the role of Joshua has done a marvellous job.
Undoubtedly this movie is one of the classics and is sure to move many to tears.
