Firstly, I would like to brief about my self. I am born and brought up in Bhopal and went to several cities because my profession demands so. After living in all A+ cities across India I came back to Bhopal for treating my wife and delivering my child here. Thats when lifeline hospitals name popped up, honestly, only because the doctor is a well known doctor in Bhopal(where you dont have much options to vouch for).
I have no complain whatsoever with the doctor(gynaec), she is a good doctor doing her job well. What I understand is, a hospital is not run by doctors, but by the management. A management failure is overall hospital failure. Going by this statement I have written my reviews of the hospital.
Let me first start with how a mis-management is seen in taking an appointment with the doctor.IT DOES NOT EXIST. Yes thats true, still a traditional village like token system is followed. Talking about followed, if you are given a number there is no management to check whether this cardinal order is followed. Its like something that I can compare with a sale!. If you are lucky to grab the position of first in queue, you get lucky to meet the doctor first. Imagine the chaos in the hospital!
Strange attitude of resident doctor: OK, thats wearied, well you be a better judge to this: a resident doctor cannot ask questions in front of a husband for her pregnant wife. Now tell me how awful that is, I mean we are living in the 21st century and there are still these people alive!, and by questions I mean normal questions like blood pressure & weight. What is more strange the same husband can accompany his wife to the gynecologist?
Time management, so if the patients are given a time of, lets say 12 pm for sonography, wait till 1 for your number to come, and remember again, no appointments! Just the fights of who came first in the queue:-)
Now the weirdest thing, remember the policy of the hospital where the husband is not allowed to accompany his wife at the resident doctor! The hospitals double standard is clear with the fact that in the same hospital sonography is done by a male. Think again how is that possible!
I have kept this discussions open!, Pool in your experiences and thoughts!
