Didn’t even think that stuff was still around - I remember those pink bars - orangy-pink, as I recall. My mother used to get them by the bag - probably because they were on sale - Good Golly Miss Molly - that was my Maw! It could say THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS MORE TOXIC WASTE THAN ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD and all my mother would see was the price.
I remember bathing with it - you didn’t have to scrub yourself to get that ’fresh-scrubbed’ feel - all you had to do was lightly lather with it - it felt like a whole layer of skin came off!
Not to mention the sticky feeling it left behind.
And the smell of the stuff - oh, I can never think of things to put on my DISLIKE list - but tonite I found two - Lifebuoy and Irish Spring.
