To anyone who may be reading this, please stay away from investing in furnitures displayed in Home Centre. It might look elegant but it is of horrendous quality. We got duped into buying furniture worth 1, 20, 000 (6 pieces) out of which 3 have already proven to be of bad quality. The cot has a crack at the side and one of its legs is also cracked.
Three of the drawers of the dressing table (the drawers are around 3 ft. not small) have shifted their positions as a result of which we cannot use them at all because they can either stay in a closed position or stay open. There is also a crack in drawer where the nut was fixed. We purchased 6 seater dining table and we are a family of only three members so the three mostly remain unused. In spite of that two chairs (the back rest) have big cracks in them. And the best part is all this happened within 3 months of use. The bed had crack when the people from home centre had come to fit it. We complained about it then as well but no action taken till date. We complained about the other problems later again no action. We went there and complained personally but nothing has happened so far.
Some of our friends had already predicted during the house warming ceremony that the furnitures from home centre, lifestyle doesnt last long. But, we thought maybe they are a few in hundreds who have experienced. But, no we were a fool to buy anything from them. Its better if you dont buy any furniture from here. The person who handles consumer complaints is least bothered to rectify the mistakes. I am very dissatisfied with the whole purchase.
