Lijjat Papad is one of the oldest brand in India. Lijjat produces urad dal Papad which is widely used as a stater across the country.
I remember my mother would serve me such home made Papad during meal. Recently bought Lijjat Papad just for sake of those old days only to find out the flavor which I was looking for was completely missing from it. It was very spicy and hot that I had to drink lots of water during my meal which spoiled my dinner.
Also the taste of the Papad was such that after eating it all other food tasted like it.
Packing was even worse as once opened it I had to put in a airtight container because if not, the Papad will loose its crunchyness and the the aroma as well.
