Leelavati Hospital in Bandra is a place we should all avoid. Firstly it has too many doctors, more than 40 in cardiology alone. But too many reports coming out from there about people getting a raw deal.

Also the hospital is becoming well known for excess billing -- a simple operation can put you back by thousands of rupees.
Its administration spends too much time on seeking publicity -- Amitabh Bachchan one day, a film shooting unit the next week -- that is not why a hospital is set up.
