Being a practising doctor(as a Physician & Obesity Consultant) since 30 years(since 1972);I had very good & very bad experiences also;regarding the treatment of referred patients to varios hospitals in Bombay.If I think in general ’’Lilavati Hospital’’ scores over other hospitals.This is pertaining to ’’Major Surgeries;i.e.Heart;Kidneys:Specialised procedures in Gall-Bladder; in Eye Surgery & Orthopaedic treatment.General Surgery if done by Most experienced like Dr.R.B.Singh;Dr.AR Undre.Now it depends patient is put under which doctor.I advise everybody to take advice of ’’FAMILY DOCTOR’’& keep him mediator to get best of treatment.Second very important thing is that people should not use this hospital for minor ailments;which can be very well treated by open Nursing Home by your own Family Doctors.(where you save money & time both)& you get personal touch.
