It was Saturday afternoon and we decided to go out for lunch to some Buffet.
After lot of thinking, we zeroed on Limelight coffee shop in Royal Orchid hotel off Airport Road. This is next to Geoffrey’s. Hope I got the spelling correct.
We reached there a 3PM was politely told by the waiter that buffet section is getting closed and we could go for ala carte. We checked with the manager and he said we can still go for the buffet. We started with the salads. Lots of variety was available but the taste was not exciting. Then we tried the main course. I tried all the Veg stuff and found them to be decent. There wasn’t much variety though in the main course.
The desserts were really good.
Overall I found the buffet not worth Rs 310/-
I still feel Ebony has a wonderful buffet for Rs 135/-
I think they need to really improve the main course. Though there was a variety of salads. None were good.
The only good thing is the Desserts.
View from the coffee shop is good. Can oversee the hotel lawns.
