In Short Linux is AWESOME... prob the best OS out on the market today. you can download this os for free or you can pay a small price at your local software store (usually 20$) and get a very helpful book to go along with your new OS.Linux adds stability to your computer no more of those nasty blue screens of death. Unlike Windows that does not get along with any of the other software company’s (guess no one taught them how to share?) Linux can install right along side Windows with no problems. With an Open source code the Linux OS is open for anyone to add or change the OS to thier liking always making it better and this in turn makes the OS FREE. the newer versions of Linux have also added a wonderful GUI (graphical user interface)that makes it almost as easy as windows.
