This has been one of my favourite drinks. You might say I’m addicted to it. So I requested via Mouthpad for this product to be added, and I thought I might write a short review...
What
is Ice Tea?
It is a cold drink. People consider it to be along the lines of Pepsi, 7up and such - only less recognized. The taste is not quite so fizzy as Pepsi, and some people may like the fizz of Pepsi - I myself find it nice - but you have to say that Ice Tea has an entirely different taste from the rest, and the flavour I drink - Peach - has the following ingredients listed:
Water
Sugar
Citric Acid
Tea Powder
Peach juice
Ascorbic acid
Peach flavour
Plus side?
It has a great taste.
It’s refreshing, and cool.
You don’t spend all your money on a can half-filled with drink and the other with fizz.
Down side?
It’s addictive.
It has tea powder in it - so it may just have all the bad things that are caused by tea.
A bit too much sugar.
Anything else?
So the taste is cool, sweet and refreshing. It tastes a bit peachy, but not a bit like peach juice. You can finish off a can of this easier than a Pepsi can, and a big burp doesn’t follow. I never considered any other brand. I just bought a can of this. I knew straight away that it would addict me, so I restricted myself to small amounts. I was very curious as to whether this really tasted like tea or not. That day, I had been surprised to know that the taste was very, very different from anything I had ever drunken before. But once I choked and coughed up a mouthful. That was when I discovered exactly how much tea powder was in it.
Many parents don’t let their children drink tea from a young age. I should know, having experienced the same thing. Also, this is a bit unhealthy for all, but for some strange reason it seems to be more for young children. So maybe they should either not drink it at all, or just restrict themselves like me. A last word. If you think it is too sweet, then try pouring into a glass and adding ice. Wait until it is chilled, and then the effect will be absolutely delicious.
So, in a few words: You have to be careful with this, or you’ll drink too much!
