I have been drinking Brook bond red label tea for as far as I can remember. That was what we had in our house and still have if I go home. I dont know whether the tea tasted good or bad because both my parents prepared lousy tea.. or is that the real taste of Red Label? I dunno.
After 30 odd years of life and now on my own as I started cooking for myself, I felt drawn to cooking and was fascinated by it. It was just a matter of time before I wished to drink some tea which had tea leaves in them which I could recognise....
Not knowing which brand had it, I asked a friend who immediately said Lipton Yellow Label (or at leat I thought she did...) I immediately went out and bought it and was shocked to find similar looking tea inside. However on trying it out it tasted much better!
Later on I found what I was searching for in Lipton Darjeeling Tea (The tea I was given when I asked for Green Label). I now drink both these teas as per my fancy. The Darjeeling tea tastes best without sugar or milk. It is such a sight to watch the green leaves come to life and bloom under hot water :)
