If you are considering a Smart RO solution from Livpure, hold on—think 100 times before deciding!
A year ago, I was impressed by their "pay based on consumption" model and decided to go for it, thinking it would save me from the upfront investment required for traditional options like Kent, Aquaguard, etc. Maybe Sachins advertising for them also influenced my decision.?
Once you subscribe, a machine will arrive at your home in about a week or ten days. From that point on, it becomes your responsibility(and liability) to chase the Livpure team to get it installed and working. Be prepared for multiple follow-ups, as there is no coordination between their different teams.
Every time there was an issue—such as a faulty filter or the machine making noise/alerts—I had to constantly follow up to get it fixed. If a part needed replacement, I had to wait for days without water. Always keep an alternative water source ready in such situations!?
Recently, I faced an issue where the machine incorrectly registered my water consumption as exceeding my plan(100 liters per day for two people) and stopped working. With no other option, I recharged ₹100, but within a day, 100 liters were exhausted, even though I had barely used 10–15 liters. Then came the usual service request hassle. Multiple technicians visited, and finally, one diagnosed a faulty motherboard.
After waiting 2–3 more days for the motherboard replacement and making multiple follow-ups with the technician and call center, the machine stopped working altogether! The technician then told me that the wire kit needed replacement—and then he vanished. Ive now been following up with support for over 10 days without resolution. In these 10 days, I called at least 8–10 times, and the team promised to escalate my case on four different occasions, but nothing happened.
Finally, I decided to cancel my subscription. Even the cancellation request went unanswered for over two days, and I had to call them again and again to get some action on my request. Now, after all the waiting and harassment, they are offering me a replacement machine! Hats off to the Livpure team!. I have requested them to take the machine away and return my deposit.
