The water purifier works good till it does not:)
I have a Touch 2000+ for the last 9 years now. I believe its time to throw it away & get a new one now. Why?
All was good in the first 2 years, timely service, prompt visits, responsive customer support. I bought it when it was advertised in the newspaper that the RO comes with 2 years warranty & services. But was explained after purchase that the services are for only one year.
Then came the time to buy AMC.
First one was ok, as Im told Livpure had their own fleet of service engineers. Then they tied up with local agencies. Thats when everything went down the drain.
I paid AMC for 3 years & the agency closed shop. Livpure honoured the AMC when papers & proof of payment was submitted.
But they now had local agencies & the experience was very poor:
In the last 9 years, despite multiple emails, they still have my address & email ID incorrect in their system. As a result they always send the service request to the wrong district.
Ive experienced preventive maintenance calls generated & then closed by the local service centre without providing service.
Service request once generated takes a lot of follow-up on email & phone to get a service engineer. Average wait time is 1 month. I have also had to wait 3 months for service.
Service engineer will come do half the work & excuse himself as he has to attend an emergency, promise to come back the next day & complete the job. He never comes back.
Local service centre will hear you once & then, when the service engineer does not show up, will not pick up your call further.
The service engineer number specified in the SMS is always switched off.
Emails to customer support gets a canned regret response along with a promise to set things right, unfortunately they are never set right.
Id advise stay away from this brand.
