My house was a newly constructed independent house. We chose Livspace for our interior needs like TV unit, Wardrobe, Kitchen and few customised furnitures.
During the design phase it looked all rosy and we felt we would have the best furnitures in our home, but in reality it was different. Reasons they claim is that our house is not as per the standard measurements they require. Ofcourse, it is bound to be that way because it is constructed and not built with ready made castings.
This comment should have been done even before the work commenced or they took the fees from us. It is hard to take it in the execution stage of the products.
Pros:
The quality of materials used is as promised and of good quality.
Execution team goes beyond their scope of work to ensure customer satisfaction(but in most cases the issue is beyond their control). Especially the carpenters & their leads from Livspace. Thanks Guys. without your support the situation would have been still worse.
Try to complete around 85% of job on time
They immediately replace the parts if damaged
Cons:
Their products are pre-designed and readymade which is hard to suit individual homes requiring customisations. Its like we have to adapt to what they have in their shelf.
They do offer customisation, but warranty is not covered in those cases.
For customisation, they have such poor and local vendors who are not even worth a C grade skilled labourers in the outside market.
They claim their designs are ergonomically tested but they look at only the life of furniture so that the warranty promise is met. But it does not meet the requirement of a household. They end up leaving GAPs and vents, which is haven for pests & roaches.
Never ask them to do tile fixing as part of customisation, the masons do such poor job that I had to get it redone with my contractor.
During execution of project if we have a concern about the team handling it, there is no one to escalate. No one bothers because they have got their full payment
I had bad experience right from dispatching wrong materials to wrong design upload, multiple follow ups and nasty mails to replace the proper item(even after making 100% payment); delay in starting the project, alignment issues, Gaps everywhere to not having received the Warranty card yet.
All these are least expected from a trusted brand like Livspace. I am sure after couple of years I may end up replacing the whole furniture, but it would still be worth to go to local good carpenters even if they charge 80% of cost what Livspace charges.
Sorry guys you failed to meet my expectation!:-(
