I had one of the worst purchasing experiences of my life after buying an air conditioner from Havells Lloyd India. From the very first day of installation, the AC started showing problems. It never cooled the room properly, made loud noises while running, and frequently stopped working in the middle of the night. Despite being a brand-new product, it behaved more like a second-hand or defective machine.
When I raised a complaint, the service team kept delaying visits. Even when a technician finally came, he only did some temporary fixes, but the problem continued. Every few days, a new fault appeared sometimes leakage of water, sometimes gas issues, sometimes error codes flashing on the display. It became clear that the AC was faulty and not fit for use.
What made the experience worse was the poor after-sales service. Customer care was unresponsive and kept giving false assurances. Instead of replacing the defective unit, they dragged the matter for weeks. I felt completely cheated, as my hard-earned money was wasted on a product that doesnt even perform its basic function of cooling.
This entire experience has caused me frustration, financial loss, and inconvenience. I strongly believe that strict action must be taken against such companies that sell substandard products and fail to provide proper service.
