Last month of November me and my family had visited Lonavala finally after a long time for the first time. I have heard a lot about this place. We reached there by bus from Borivali in geeta travels as me and my family were in Mumbai.
Due to circumstances of current COVID-19 hotel of geeta travels was closed so driver dropped us at the highway. From that Lonavala market is about 2 K.M away so we took auto from there and reached near lonavala st bus stand to find out hotel for staying. Area near bus station are the core area where you can find hotels, restaurant etc. We have booked 4 rooms in swapnalok hotel.
Next day after eating breakfast we have moved to sightseeing. Again due to this covid situation around 3 points are closed. We enjoyed most at lions point, lonavala lake. Local auto and cabs are easily available there near ST stand. There are hotels available on hill as well if you want to enjoy beautiful view.
Overall it is a safe place to travel and some of the views are really mind blowing. We bought famous chikki from there. Accommodation are easily available. We enjoyed a lot there.
