London has fallen is the Succesor of the first installment of the series "Olympus Has Fallen" Starred By Morgan Freeman, Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart.
I must say I expected much more, Cause I was fan of the first one but having said that it’s disappointing.!
When I first watched the trailer it seemed to be Nice and Enthralling. Honestly I was hyped but the end result did not satisfy me at all.
The story starts with the news of Britain’s Prime minister’s death and for that a funeral has been organized. from over 40 Countries High officials are coming Including the US President(Aaron Eckhart) with his Bodyguard and Trustyworthy Friend alike Mike Banning(Gerard Butler) but the situation got worse and worser by time and everyhing even the own secutiy of London get compromized! Now how both of them survive against all the odds and fight it out against the terrorists who wanna assassinate Mr. President. That’s all the story is about.
Now for the Action part it was Gore, Thrilling but at the same time looked to be repetitive and Boring(Cause we haven’t seen anything new in this one). The performances were good though especially from Gerard and Aaron. Cinematography and CGI effects were looking a bit dull I must say. They could have been much improved.! The background score was just all right. Nothing Exceptional!
In the end I must say, It’s one of those movies I really wanted to like but failed. There’s nothing there that can push me to give this a good rating. If you are an Action Movie fan go for it, but if you are looking for something new or something interesting out of the story then for your own sake you may happily skip this one!
