Terminal 5—Heathrow’s Asset

Perhaps it’s the allure of more than 100 stylish shops and restaurants. Maybe it’s the draw of the luxurious Galleries lounges, featuring champagne bars and spa treatments. Or, maybe it’s the airy terminal building designed so you can enjoy a seamless journey through the airport, whether you’re transferring flights or starting your trip.

Every day, from dawn to dusk, more than 250 British Airways flights leave from Terminal 5. In its first year, over 20 million passengers passed through its doors to enjoy an upgraded airport experience. Today, 92% of British Airways flights at London Heathrow fly from or through Terminal 5.

Terminal 5’s six lounges and Elemis Travel Spa make up the largest, most luxurious lounge complex in the world. This includes The Concorde Room, Galleries First, Galleries Arrivals as well as a Galleries Club at each end of the terminal and in the terminal’s satellite building.

Leading designers Davies+Baron have given these lounges all the style and luxury of a modern boutique hotel - using only the most environmentally friendly materials.

Its accessibility is mind blowing and its less crowded than any other terminal. Wish India’s International Airport becomes a copy of that. Its simply awesome.
