I have been reading the reviews on mouthshut for a long time. Many of them have helped me and many have misguided me.this is my 1st review here and hope this helps everyone in people making their choice for their requirement in furniture.
I moved to bangalore a Year back and have been Staying in Koromangala Area. When we gave advance for our new flat in ST Bed we decided to look for furniture for the same. The flat we bought already had Kitchens and Wardrobe so we were basically looking for the Sofa Set/ Cots for two bedroom/ Dining and accessories.
We decided to go to Looking Good Furniture on the Koromangala Ring Road which we pass by everyday to work. Our initial plan was to just go and research and to buy later after seeing few more stores. When we entered the store we were greeted by their Sales Person who was ready to help us. The good thing was that the person who greeted us was there with us throughout the time we were there in the store in spite of us telling him that we were just taking a look and had no intention to purchase right away.
Coming to the furniture in the store. they have a Great Collection of Sofa Sets / Recliners / Cots / TV Unit and Coffee Tables. The only area they are lagging behind is in Dining Tables. During our visit we short listed the products we intended to buy which included a
3 Seater Softy Couch
2 Single Leather Recliners
2 Cots with Mattress and Pillows
LCD Tv unit and LCD TV unit with stand for the bedroom
Coffee Table Set for the Living
The total estimate came to around 1.5l including all taxes and delivery.
Though initially we had not intended to buy, my husband was convinced with the products we had seen and we decided to make the payment. We paid by Amex and were surprised they accepted the card without charging anything extra or without a fuss. We had scheduled the delivery a month later because we needed that time to make the balance payment for our house and do the registration. The store manager informed us that we needed to inspect the same before delivery and then only he could deliver the same.
The problem arouse when we couldn’t get our house registered on time and there was a delay because of all the formalities involved. So we spoke to the Store Manager that there will be a delay of another month at-least. He was very understanding of our situation and told us to inform him 2 weeks before we needed our delivery. Finally after two months we went to the store. During our second visit we liked another Couch which was not there earlier. We asked if we could change the design and were actually surprised when they agreed, in-spite of them blocking our sofa for almost three months. We also added a Carpet, Shoe Rack, couple of Lamp Shades and a Mirror Frame. The items were all delivered in the Next Couple of weeks. Their Polish-man came and did the necessary touch ups for the cots which had a few scratches during delivery.
Overall my Experience with Looking Good Furniture has been really Great. I like the their attitude and the professional friendly approach they have towards their Customers. They have people who are accountable and can take decisions without passing the buck. I would highly recommend this store to Everyone who’s reading this review. Sneha
