This review is about the bedroom set which I bought at Looking Good Furniture.
The Bedroom consisted of a King Size Cot, Two Side Tables, Five Door Wardrobe and Dressing Table which came with its own Stool. The cost of the Entire Package was 46K. The mattress I bought was a Kurlon Spring which was another 12K. It came with free pillows.
Coming to the Bedroom Set. The finish was cherry color. They told me it is supposed to be scratch proof and even demonstrated by scratching a key on the surface. The cot had storage at the bottom in the form of drawers on ether side. The headboard was at an angle and had cushions which made it very comfortable to sit on.
The wardrobe was Five Doors, has some kinds of fiber glass on it to give it a contemporary look. There were drawers with locks inside for keeping watches, wallets, etc. Decent Storage Inside. The dress was elegant looking and came with its own stool and sufficient storage to keep all the cosmetics.The Side tables were standard with the two drawers
After booking, the piece was delivered to me on time the next day. They delivered me box pieces . The people took around 3 hours to assemble the full set. The assembly and delivery charges were included in the cost of the bedroom set.
The reason I picked up a ready Bedroom Set was it saves me lot of mess and wait of getting one customized. My wife suffer from wheezing, so the smell of polish or paint is a big no no. Also I can get to see what I buy before rather than have something customized and cry about the finish later.
I understand that the strength of these sets are not as good as something you would customize with ply. But in terms of price it works out very reasonable. For example, an interior at my building was charging me almost 1.3lakhs for custom made bedroom sets. He also told me the entire work would take 4 weeks and had to be done at home.
The reason for me choosing this from Looking Good Furniture was that the finish and the quality looked very good. Also the price sounded very competitive when I compared it with other stores which I had seen. They also had the stock which was delivered to me the very next day.
To Conclude... I am very happy with the bedroom set I have purchased. I would recommend this product to anyone who doesn’t want to go through all the hassle or custom making and want something nice and quick.
