Looking Good Furniture - Great Experience
I was recommended to Looking Good Furniture by a friend of mine who came back to Bangalore after his spending the past few year abroad. He had picked up a flat on Sarjapur Ring Road and had got his house fully furnished by the guys at Looking Good Furniture.
Till date most of the furniture I have made have been from "Friendly Neighborhood Carpenters". Though at times the price works out fine. they usually mess up your house, the finish is not all that great and if there is a problem, u need to find someone new to fix it.
So with high expectations, I visited Looking Good Furniture. My requirement was furniture for my Living Room which I planned to renovate. I started by Looking at the Sofa Sets. They had quite a few designs on display. I shortlisted a Corner Sofa Design which had to be custom made as per my requirement and size. The sales staff told me that he will send someone with me to get the measurements for my Sofa and then give me the estimate.
I also also needed a Center Table and LCD TV Unit. The collection of these products was quite a few and at Very Competitive price compared to what I had seen in other stores while window shopping. I finally selected the TV Unit and decided to wait on the Center Table till my Sofa got done. This advise was given by the sales staff which I very much appreciated.
The Delivery time promised was 2 weeks but I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call after a week saying that my Sofa was ready and they needed me to inspect it before delivery. When I went for inspection, I found that my sofa and TV Unit were neatly packed and kept in the shop. The Sofa was as per my order and the finish was very good.
They promised to deliver the same by 8 pm that evening. The delivery finally arrived by 9pm, but that I can live with. This sofa was purchased couple of years back and till date it seems to be fine. We may need to change the fabric probably after a year but the cushions and others things are in pretty good condition.
After that, I have purchased my Center Table, Dining Set, Crockery Unit, Recliner, and a Cot/Mattress for my Guest Bedroom. In fact I finalized the Cot and mattress over the phone. Told them my budget and asked them to send photographs of what they had.
It was not until yesterday did I begin to read not so good reviews about looking good on mouth shut.
However my experience had been totally different than what some people have reviewed. Thats the very reason I am decided to pen down my experience. The review above is not about any individual product I have bought, but more to do with my experience as a satisfied customer.
The staff at Looking Good Furniture were courteous, knowledgeable and possessional. We got a great price, delivery on time . The goods were perfect, as described and with no damage. Overall, the whole process has been pain free and I would highly recommend them.
