What happens when Daffy Duck gets tired of playing second fiddle to Bugs Bunny????
Well, he goes to the Warner Bros and complains that they have to decide between a matinee idol (Daffy) and a carrot munching hero (Bugs).
The Warner Bros, decide to make a movie without Daffy, and under the recommendation of Kate Houghton (Jenna Elfman) “FIRES” Daffy Duck.
What follows is an adventure that should please the children.
Unwinding in the vicinity is the story of DJ (Brendan Fraser), a struggling stunt man and the son of the biggest Spy Star ‘Damian Drake’, (Timothy Dalton). DJ does not want to use his father’s help to make it big and so doubles up as a Security guard at Warner Bros Inc.
One of his assignments is to eliminate Daffy from the premises, which needless to say, ends up in a major goof up and subsequently being fired by Kate Houghton (Jenna Elfman). After being fired he returns home to find that his father is an actual spy (and also Daffy has followed home). His father stumbled upon a diamond by the name of “Blue Monkey” and the chairman of Acme Corporation has kidnapped him with the intention of securing that diamond which contained magical powers.
One on hand, Bugs finds it difficult to do any movies without Daffy and therefore begins a quest along with Jenna Elfman to bring Daffy back and on the other hand DJ, stuck with Daffy and begins his quest to find his missing father and the diamond.
The search for Daffy to bring him back and DJ’s search for the “BLUE MONKEY” takes all of them to Las Vegas and then begins the adventure to secure the diamond before the evil chairman of Acme Corporation (Steve Martin) does.
The usual adventure of fights and stretches, running in and out of paintings and other such trademark Bugs and Daffy movie follows.
Performance of the human beings, namely Brendan Fraser and Steve Martin were good, just the way you would expect after being surrounded by cartoon characters. Jenna Elfman did not look like she belonged to that place, she was not funny at all as would be expected of a comedy movie.
Performance wise for the cartoon characters, nothing to write about. They were what they are and did what they are supposed to do, act stupid, funny, and weird.
Movie suited for small kids and not for any of the mature heads, coz you would find it “Not so Funny”.

P.S. This review was never supposed to see daylight, along with a few other reviews, coz I thought it is really badly written.
