The story is based in 1953.
There is a guy whose name is Varun Srivastav who arrives in Manikpur village of West Bengal with as an archaeologist with his group of four. They had given the work of stealing the statues of the temple of one of the local Zamindar. While proceeding with his work, Varun goes successful in impressing by the Zamindar’s family. Pakhi got impressed very much and started loving her. Although Varun was focused on his work but he also started liking Pakhi. Now, he had to make a choice between Pakhi and his past. So, one day before their marriage could happen, he got successful in stealing the statues and then disappeared from there. This all incident gave a heart attack to father of Pakhi and he died on the spot. Now, Pakhi had to struggle and she decided to move on and tries to forget him. She got settled in Shimla. Varun reached there also for his next assignment with his team. Then, Varun and Pakhi got arranged in the most extraordinary situations.
Lootera is a delicious entertainer. Movie start as 1953, A archaeologist with his four group. They starts stealing statues of old Zamindar and Impressed him first. He fall in love with Zamindar’s daughter. First day it starts with good stand on hope but definetly the film will raise more high.
