If you thought The Chambers of Secret was a big then read on. Last year saw the release of blockbuster movies, like, Spiderman, The Sorcerers Stone (Harry Potter), Lord of Rings and The Fellowship of the Ring etc. etc. But it was the Lord of Rings – I, that stole the limelight at Oscars as well at UK-Box-office ( I didnt have the list of US Box-office Collections). So it was the least of surprise that Lord of Rings – II, The Two Tower, would be Big, in all sense of the term. So truly it was.
Plot.
Living the introduction to the first part itself, the movie moves forward with Frudo feeling the power immense of ring he carries, a job which was destined to him, along with his trusted friend Sam and a new find acquitance who himself wore the ring and knew the way to the Two Towers. With the other three lords following his 2 other Horbit friends. The movies suspense lies in the return of Gandalf the wizard who was supposedly fell into the caves and was supposedly declared dead by one and all in LORings-I.Gandalf tries to free the King of Rohan from the Evil spell of Solomon the wizard. Who was raising an army to capture the Rohan, Middle Earth and there on. The King of Rohan takes all his countrymen to the Helms Deep, which the thinks was the best defensive against the army of Solomon. As the war starts, the whole Earth is divided into two groups with Solomon or Against Him. The War is made magnificent, with spine chilling special effects.
I do agree the story is very complex as you read on and as you watch the movie. But the movie is made in such a beautiful way, that it lends an artistic aura to itself, joining all the loose ends of the thread(story). You got to see it, its so beautiful. But make sure to watch LORing – I, before booking the tickets to The Twin Tower.
Direction.
Movies direction is to good. The movie in itself is like painting. The director does tend to get away from the actual part of the story by showing Frudo a bit weak in the hands of ring, but the book suggested Froudo to be in control of ring. Book shows Froudo to be noble and strong with a clear vision of right and wrong, but the director does add a little twist to it. Thats understandable. But overall the director must qualify as a artist as far as the The Two Towers is concerned.
Attraction.
Plot for me is good, the crew has kept it supernatural, as it should be, nowhere adding the Human Masala touch. Special Effects are better than the Chambers of secret and Die Another Day, that speaks for itself. Background score is far superior to Titanic, that also speaks for itself. Actors/Actress have done a superb job, as is expected from Hollywood Stars.
Pardon Me
I may have confused a lot of Names or Spelled it wrong, but you should consider that I didnt have the Book, LORing and I have just got the Cds from a friend, which didnt have subtitles nor the CD Cover was properly Done. But I wanted to give the review as soon as I finished watching it, just for you gals and guys.I will update the review as soon as I get the details.
Overall
Fascinating, Enchanting, Entrancing, Magnetic, Alluring etc. etc. Its simply great. Do watch it at the Best Hall in your city, its worth it.
