Not a very good experience with the admission process. The Staff is arrogant and does not talk to the parents with courtesy. Not even once we felt welcomed in the school. Right from the front desk staff to the admission cell, the staff makes you feel that they are obliging you by talking to you. Lots of gaps in communication. but that wasnt enough.
The interaction with the child was as if she is appearing for UPSC interview. It was not revolved around understanding the child instead more around if the child would fit into their preconceived mould.
Our child comes from Presidium which may not be considered as a cream school but atleast every child is welcomed with open arms, be it specially abled kid or a nerd. Not sure if my kid was judged based on the interaction or not, but I believe choosing an already brilliant child( Which my child is in her own regards) and taking the credit of giving 100% results in the board exam as a school doesnt make a school "great". Atleast the reason could have been transparently told. I am relieved that my child will go to somewhere else where she will be welcomed with open arms. School Administration should definitely reflect upon their admission process.
