Not as aspected

I had finished many books( Frankenstein - Mary Shelley, Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, The - Stephen King) I also expect good from this also.

The character of protagonist(name is similar to mine but I guess the name is inspired from SRK’s movie name in many romantic love stories). In the entire book, he was a complete looser. Yes, he was in love or not that is a different case but weeping on such small incidents is really pathetic. Believe me even girls don’t cry in such stupid way.

The book starts on a promising note with an interesting prologue and as we turn the pages we see Rahul falling for Shreya when he sees her for the first time in their training program on their new job. As fate would have it, Rahul, who is too shy around girls and does not appreciate outer beauty(though he believes in love at first sight), is introduced to Shreya by his friend, Riya. The story was written with only the ending in mind and you can literally feel it as the author makes his way towards the ending, creating and birthing events that have pretty much the same flavor.

The writing is very simple and it leaves the reader no room for imagination. I would never recommend this book.
